Bill Kasdorf To Speak On “UPFRONT XHTML” At O’Reilly TOC
HERNDON, VA – January 22, 2013 – Bill Kasdorf, General Editor of The Columbia Guide to Digital Publishing and VP of Apex Content Solutions, will be conducting a workshop on “UPFRONT XHTML: For Workflow, Not Just the Web” at O’Reilly Tools of Change for Publishing Feb 2013 in New York City. Mr. Kasdorf will present an innovative editorial and production workflow using XHTML/HTML5 as a foundational model, greatly streamlining print and digital product production and creating a dynamic, repurposable repository.
Dave Cramer, Content Workflow Specialist at Hachette Book Group, and Denis Saulnier, Director of Learning Services in Higher Education for Harvard Business Publishing, will provide real-world examples that demonstrate how this XHTML-based strategy is being used in trade and educational publishing.
The workshop will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, February 12th. Apex employees will be available following the workshop to answer questions. Registration is limited and the workshop is almost fully subscribed.
