James Edwards
Chairman of the Board and CEO (Emeritus)

Prior to joining Apex CoVantage, Mr. Edwards was the Chairman and CEO of ICF Kaiser Engineers (ICF). His career at ICF began in 1974 when the company had just ten employees. Under his guidance, ICF grew into a publicly traded company with annual revenues of $1.3 billion, a staff of 8,000, and 80 worldwide offices. Prior to joining ICF, he worked for the Kenyan government and the U.S. government in various capacities, concluding his government career as a member of the White House Office of Management and Budget staff. Mr. Edwards is a Trustee (Emeritus) of the Folger Shakespeare Library and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with high distinction as a George F. Baker Scholar.
