How today’s publishers leverage modern workflows and keep up with digital trends

The world of publishing is in a constant state of catch-up with the latest tools and trends changing every day. In a webinar on March 1, 2017, industry experts Bill Kasdorf and Greg Suprock shared use cases from the field detailing how publishers have overcome common challenges within each spectrum of the publishing process:

  1. Authoring and editing: How do you resolve interrupted workflows due to a lack of expertise in authoring and editing software?
  2. Production: What choices will help support producing a myriad of print and digital outputs?
  3. Distribution: How are publishers keeping up with the move to mobile?
  4. Digital Asset Management: How do you eliminate redundancy and inefficiency in managing your content?

Bill and Greg have collectively been working with publishers of all shapes and sizes for over forty years providing guidance and technological expertise on workflow, XML, accessibility, and more. During the webinar, attendees learned strategies publishers could address within their production operations to become more efficient, adopt modern practices, and remain agile as the industry continues to evolve.
